If Apple controls the AI routing layer, every model provider becomes a commodity that Apple can rotate in or out. Founders building AI products that depend on direct user relationships should think hard about whether their moat survives Apple putting a competitor one tap away. Products that live at the OS level or in hardware, rather than as cloud endpoints, will be much harder to displace.
